Welcome!
The Red Hook Soccer Club provides intramural soccer programs for children ages 4 through 14 years of age. Our primary goal is to create a nurturing environment where children have fun and develop a love for the game.

You can translate everything in the registration system into Spanish by registering for an account and selecting Spanish as your primary language. When you log back in, everything will be in Spanish.
Age Divisions
Age appropriate skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and respect are taught in teams within age divisions. In each division, all skill levels are welcome. We strive to create balanced teams and to help players develop a sense of competition within a larger sense of community. All intramural teams are co-ed. We currently have the following age divisions:

U4 (birth year 2021) does not play a structured "soccer game" but instead focuses on activities that build early soccer skills. May do just one practice/activity session on Saturday mornings.

U5 (birth year 2020) introduces the idea of a soccer game, but mainly focuses on activities/drills that build skills, with less emphasis on a soccer game. One practice per week (one hour or less) as scheduled by the coach.

U6 (birth year 2019) plays a full soccer game on Saturday morning, and has one practice of about one hour each week, scheduled by the coach.

U8 (birth years 2018, 2017) plays a full soccer game that is refereed (when refs are available) on Saturday morning, and has one hour-long practice each week as scheduled by the coach.

U10 (birth years 2016, 2015) plays a full soccer game that is refereed (when refs are available) on Saturday morning, and has one hour-long practice each week as scheduled by the coach.

U14 (birth years 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011) is primarily a pick-up soccer opportunity, with some training. This age group plays a full soccer game that is refereed (when refs are available) on Saturday morning, and has one hour-long practice as scheduled by the coach.
Seasons
Red Hook Soccer Club has a fall season and a spring season; participants may register for the full year (both seasons) or register for just one season. Each season is approximately 10 weeks long, with at least 8 games, depending on weather. Fall season runs September-November, with the first game usually occurring the Saturday after Labor Day. Spring season runs April-June, with the first game usually occurring the Saturday after RHCSD Spring Break. Except in rare cases, teams remain the same from one season to the next.
Games
All Intramural games are played on Saturday mornings at the home fields located on Rockefeller Lane, Red Hook, generally between 8:30 am and 11am. U6-U14 teams will practice one evening during the week, U4 & U5 will have the option to practice during the week or Saturday before the game. Practices are arranged by the team coaches.
